Due to the coronavirus we are all currently experiencing an extraordinary time with many different challenges. It is a global problem which affects people all over the world. The resulting lockdowns lead to weakened economies and increased social problems.
The situation is even worse in the so-called global south as the people there are struggling to get food for the whole family. We are supporting families in the ghettos of Kampala, Uganda and need you to realize our goals. If you want to learn more about the current situation in Uganda and how to help and support the families you are more than welcome to the website!

Regarding the fact that the people are in basic need of food and it is all about helping families to get through the tough times during the lockdowns, our organisation “Young and Relentless” uses the money we are able to raise for buying maize flour, eggplants etc.
Who are we ?!
Edgar and Isi
Edgar is the founder and creater of "Young And Relentless", I currently act as the executive director of the organization and participate in every possible activity and campaign to empower and transform the young generations in all communities across the world.
Together with Isy who is the acting Co-ordinator and M&E officer of all our projects/programs. We run our operations back home in Uganda with a team of devoted volunteers who are majorly students and youths from the communities of our operation. Our ultimate goal is to enforce creativity and creative thinking as we try to achieve the SDGs through the youth.
It is our pleasure to act as beacons of hope to the many families that are going through tough times during this global disaster. We appreciate your empathy, support and aid you are to provide food and vital health equipment to such poor and vulnerable families in these communities.

We have spent the last seven months volunteering in Kampala, Uganda. Because of the current situation regarding the coronavirus we had to go back to our home country Germany five months earlier than planned.
We became really close to some people and made great friends.
Two of them are Isi and Edgar, the founders of the non-governmental organisation “Young and Relentless”, who we met at the Makerere University. We have always supported their vision to empower the youth and give them a voice. Through our friends we get some insights into the situation caused by the lockdown and these are frightening us. Regarding the fact that we want to help the Ugandan families but are not there, we were looking for other possibilities how to support. Together with “Young and Relentless” we decided that we want to give food to those, who are suffering in these times. Lisa and me therefore started to do fundraising so that Edgar and Isi can buy food and give it to those in need.
We are sure that we can trust Edgar and Isi and know exactly what they use the money for.
